Mission
- To lead the boutique team, in close collaboration with the Boutique Manager.
- To ensure the highest level of service to all Chopard clients.

Main Responsibilities
- The Assistant Boutique Manager represents the Boutique Manager in his/her absence and is responsible for all activities at store level when the Boutique Manager is away from the shop floor.
- He/She should ensure that individual team members continue to improve on their performance and contribute to the boutique’s overall mystery shopping score.
- He/She supports the Boutique Manager to conduct performance reviews and to design individual development plans for each team member to raise motivation and give individual short-term & long-term career objectives.
- He/She is in charge of organizing regular follow-up trainings on selling skills (e.g. through role-plays).
- He/She supports the Boutique Manager in preparing and holding regular team meetings/briefings with a particular focus on:
- Assessment of the current business situation followed by proactive measures to increase sales, as well as defining weekly targets/objectives.
- Sharing information with the team on products, client leads, after sales service, upcoming activities, etc.
- Nurturing a team spirit motivating individual team members to excel and perform.
Service
- The Assistant Boutique Manager is responsible for a perfect service in the boutique at all times, in line with the Boutique Charter.
- He/She is to ensure that any visitor to the boutique is treated with the utmost respect and professionalism according to Chopard boutique charter.
- A clean boutique in every corner is a must.
- Decoration must be at its best and follow the Chopard Guidelines.
- All current marketing materials (catalogues, books, leaflets, instruction manuals...) must be stocked and properly used by the whole team.
- Staff attires must be impeccable at all times.
- Showcases and serving trays must be in mint condition at all times.
- Chopard recommended music and DVDs must be played at all times.
- Stock quality and handling must be impeccable at all times (no fingerprints).
- Any renovation/touch up needs must be reported to the HQ immediately.
Business Development
- The Assistant Boutique Manager is responsible for the development of boutique sales in line with the annual set objectives.
- Assist in the Creation and Management of in-store and external events to develop new client opportunities, drive sales, and establish & develop Chopard’s Brand Awareness & Presence in the marketplace.
- He/She has to ensure the boutique’s client database in Salesforce is systematically used by all team members and continuously maintained in view of CRM activities (invitation to events, direct mailing, e-mailers, celebration of birthdays, etc.).
- He/She has to ensure that the boutique is well connected with the network of key hotels, clubs, or any other potential business providers.
- He/She should develop the network of tour guides, tour operators, translators and drivers to build further high-quality traffic to the boutique.
- He/She should propose new ideas to reach new clients through activities inside or outside the Boutique.
Operations
- He/She has to ensure that the security and insurance procedures of the Chopard Group are strictly adhered to in accordance with the Boutique Charter and the Insurance Handbook.
- Immaculate management of transactions, stocks (i.e. regular stock checks), and customer data in the respective systems.
- Ensure brand induction and training for new boutique staff members joining the team.
Specific Activities
- The Assistant Boutique Manager might be requested to travel for events or client visits.
- He/She must ensure to report market intelligence on competitor Boutiques and their staff activities.
