Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of the banquet operation in support (and in absence) of the Banquet Manager
- Ensure facilities are maintained before, during and after service
- Manage sales, clients, and accounts
- Deliver exceptional guest service by greeting event facilitators, responding to phone and email inquiries, and ensuring guests receive VIP treatment
- Implement seamless event execution including event set up and tear down.
- Provide timely feedback and coaching to staff
- Raise employee moral through exciting contests and events
- Ensure quality control of all banquet aspects including food equipment, and facilities.
- Organize staff schedules
- Conduct monthly inventory
- Organize and place pre-orders for upcoming events
- Key Requirements
- 1 year + experience of banquet event planning and execution
- 1 year + experience in a restaurant management role responsible for a team of 5 or more
- Salesexperienceisanasset
- Highly organized
- Enthusiastic and well-rounded
- Excelatcustomer service by ensuring each guest and team member feels special
- Ability to work a flexible schedule with availability 7 days a week from 5am 2am
- Impromptu problem-solving skills while maintaining a positive demeanor
