Are you an experienced housekeeping professional with great attention to detail and leadership skills? At Haulfryn, we create exceptional holiday experiences and we're looking for a Senior Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team, ensuring our holiday homes and facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day housekeeping operation, ensuring high standards and efficient service delivery.
- Clean or organise cleaning of all lodges as soon as practical after a departure.
- Oversee a team of housekeepers, providing guidance, support, and ensuring work is completed to a 5-star standard.
- Act as a 'checker', reviewing cleans and addressing any quality concerns.
- Manage stock levels, monitor cleaning supplies and linen inventory.
- Prepare and deliver linen and equipment for changeover days.
- Liaise with the Sales team and Sublet representative to coordinate cleaning.
- Work with maintenance and hot tub teams to ensure holiday homes are guest-ready inside and out.
- Monitor customer satisfaction, deal with any issues or complaints promptly, and maintain high service standards.
- Maintain accurate records, including Health & Safety, COSHH, and stock control documentation.
- Ensure full compliance with company procedures and all Health & Safety regulations.
- Support the Housekeeping Manager with planning, team development, and maintaining key performance standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience supervising or leading a housekeeping team.
- Strong understanding of housekeeping operations and attention to detail.
- Ability to coach, develop and motivate a team.
- Strong communication skills and confidence managing performance.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety and COSHH procedures.
- A proactive, can-do attitude and pride in delivering excellent standards.
- Understanding of administration and stock control within a housekeeping department (desirable).
- Experience working towards guest review KPIs like TripAdvisor or Revoo (desirable).
