Working hours: Our service provides care 7 days a week between 07:00 - 22:00. We welcome applicants who seek both full‑time and part‑time hours. Please indicate your preference of working days and hours at the 1st point of contact with our colleagues. We are proud to offer flexible zero‑hour contracts where you can choose to work as many hours as you would like. To keep things fair for everyone, we ask for a minimum of 20 hours each week, with every other weekend included. You will work on a simple 2‑week rolling rota, so you will always know your schedule in advance.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting individuals with personal care needs such as washing, dressing, and toileting.
- Assisting with medication administration and documentation in line with care plans.
- Preparing meals and assisting with eating and drinking where required.
- Promoting independence and encouraging service users to engage in daily living tasks.
- Building positive relationships with individuals and their families.
- Supporting emotional well‑being and recognising signs of distress or changes in behaviour.
- Maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
- Ensuring a clean, safe, and comfortable environment in the home.
