Responsibilities
- Supporting individuals with personal care needs such as washing, dressing, and toileting.
- Assisting with medication administration and documentation in line with care plans.
- Preparing meals and assisting with eating and drinking where required.
- Promoting independence and encouraging service users to engage in daily living tasks.
- Building positive relationships with individuals and their families.
- Supporting emotional well-being and recognising signs of distress or changes in behaviour.
- Maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
- Ensuring a clean, safe, and comfortable environment in the home.
- Respecting confidentiality and always maintaining professional boundaries.
Qualifications

- Experience preferred but not essential - full training provided.
- UK Driving licence and own vehicle is essential within certain routes/locations (We pay 30p per mile fuel allowance).
- Alternative weekend availability.
- This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Candidates must have current and valid Right to Work in the UK.
- You’ll need a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle. As you will be travelling between clients, you’ll also need to provide proof of car insurance during the recruitment process.
Working Hours & Contract
Our service provides care 7 days a week between 07:00 – 22:00. We welcome applicants who seek both full-time and part-time hours. Please indicate your preference of working days and hours on the prescreen application form. We’re proud to offer flexible zero-hour contracts where you can choose to work as many hours as you’d like. To keep things fair for everyone, we ask for a minimum of 20 hours each week, with every other weekend included. You’ll work on a simple 2-week rolling rota, so you’ll always know your schedule in advance.
