Choices Homecare are seeking compassionate Domiciliary Care Workers for our locations across the Bolton region.

Working Hours
Our service provides care 7 days a week between 07:00 and 22:00. We welcome applicants who seek both full‑time and part‑time hours. Flexible zero‑hour contracts are available, with a minimum of 16 hours per week – preferably including every other weekend. The schedule is on a simple 2‑week rolling rota.
Pay is for care delivery time only, with mileage reimbursed at 30p per mile. This is not a block pay position.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care needs such as washing, dressing, and toileting.
- Assist with medication administration and documentation in line with care plans.
- Prepare meals and assist with eating and drinking where required.
- Promote independence and encourage service users to engage in daily living tasks.
- Build positive relationships with individuals and their families.
- Support emotional well‑being and recognise signs of distress or changes in behaviour.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment in the home.
- Respect confidentiality and maintain professional boundaries.
Qualifications and Requirements

- Experience preferred but not essential – full training provided.
- UK driving licence and own vehicle (essential for certain routes/locations). Mileage allowance of 30p per mile.
- Alternative weekend availability.
