Choices Healthcare is an established health and social care organisation that supplies a variety of healthcare staff to the NHS, local authorities, and private clients. We provide supported living accommodations and both internal and external healthcare training. We currently operate across Southeast England with scope for expansion. Our Ipswich branch is currently looking for Care Assistants to join us in providing high quality care within the community.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a service of care to clients to enable them to lead as independent a lifestyle as possible.
  • Deliver a program of personal care and household management personalized for each client as part of a Service User Care Plan.
  • Assist clients and observe and respect the client’s dignity, privacy, choice, and promote independence.
  • Work shifts within the community (morning and lunches 7am–2pm; teas and beds 4pm–10pm).
  • Travel to community-based duties; mileage contribution is offered.

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Full driving licence with own car required; position primarily based out in the community.
  • Mileage contribution offered.
  • No experience? We offer free training to the right candidates.
  • Rate of pay: £13/h for drivers with own vehicle; £12.90/h for non-drivers.
  • Successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
  • CoS transfers are welcome, subject to conditions.
  • Weekly pay.
