Choices Healthcare is an established health and social care organisation that supplies a variety of healthcare staff to the NHS, various local authorities, and private clients. In addition, we provide supported living accommodations and both internal and external healthcare training. We currently operate across Southeast England with scope for expansion. Our Southend branch is currently looking for Care Assistants to join us in providing high-quality care within the community.
Responsibilities
- Provide a service of care to clients to enable them to lead as independent a lifestyle as possible, following a personalised Service User Care Plan.
- Conduct personal care and household management in line with each client’s plan, respecting the client’s dignity, privacy and choice, and promoting independence.
- Observe and support the client while promoting independence and safety within the community setting.
- Work shifts are primarily in the community and typically include mornings/lunches 7am–2pm and evenings 4pm–10pm.
Requirements
- Full driving licence with own car is required as the role is primarily community-based.
- Mileage contribution is offered.
- Successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
- CoS transfers welcome, subject to conditions.
- No prior experience? Full free training is provided to the right candidates.

- Rate of pay: £13/h (driver with own vehicle) and £12.90/h (non-driver).
