Overview: Personal Assistant to support a young woman to access the community. The direct payment is for 51 hours per week, so will require 2-3 PAs to cover the hours in the HU9 area.

Responsibilities:

  • Support with transfers from bed to wheelchair to chair, personal care and dress ready for the day, toileting, nutritional and drink preparation as required.
  • Assist with putting callipers on and taking them off.
  • Support the daughter by ensuring a pack-up is prepared in the morning and escort to and from school on some occasions.
  • Provide social time to access the community to support the woman and her young daughter.
  • Carry out some domestic tasks as needed.
  • Be flexible to include evenings and weekends; hours to be discussed at interview.
