We are seeking 2 energetic Personal Assistants (PAs) who love to bounce a few hours away on a trampoline or enjoy a swim at the local pool. The boy needs 2 special people to build a relationship, have fun, and enjoy days out. He enjoys activities outdoors like going to the local park where he can explore, and going to eat at McDonald's. The boy has lots of energy and can sometimes run off. He can become dysregulated and feel overwhelmed when in noisy and busy places. He doesn’t like to go on public transport.

Responsibilities

  • Accompany the boy to recreational activities such as trampolining, swimming, park outings, and meals.
  • Support the boy in daily activities and maintain a positive, supportive relationship.
  • Help manage situations that may cause dysregulation or overwhelm.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of autism and sensitivity to sensory issues.
  • Kind, patient, and able to build a good companionship.
  • Ability to handle occasional high-energy or dysregulated behaviour.
  • Reliable and responsible, with a good communication style.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Full driving licence.
  • Access to a vehicle for transport.
  • Experience with personal assistance or care for autistic individuals.
