A female PA is required for a 12‑year‑old girl who is interested in anime, gaming, cosplaying, learning languages, art, sea life, space, music, and occasionally swimming. She is home‑educated, diagnosed with autism, and prefers to stay at home unless specifically visiting places of interest. The PA will provide support to develop her independence and give her parents respite.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the girl in visiting shops, food places and attractions such as HMV, Forbidden Planet, B&M, Home Bargains, Chinese Supermarkets, The Deep, the cinema, comic cons, Menkind, Boba Stands/Shops, Yankee Land and Real China.
  • Provide personal care support with dressing or changing clothes at swimming pool or shop changing rooms.
  • Support the girl in learning and practising independence skills.
  • Offer flexibility to complete the 3 hours per week term time and 6 hours per week during holidays.

Essential Qualifications

  • Female worker only – genuine occupational requirement (Equality Act 2010, schedule 9, Part 1).
  • Must hold a valid driving licence and have access to a vehicle (preferred).
  • Suitable for Disclosure and Barring Service checking, costs paid by local authority.
