Responsibilities

  • Provide personal and recreational support to an active 11‐year‐old boy, assisting him with daily activities and outings.
  • Plan and accompany the child on outdoor trips, park visits, cinema, bowling, football and food outings, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience.
  • Support the child with leisure activities such as tablet use, gaming, YouTube, music and rapping.
  • Develop a trusting relationship with the boy, showing kindness, patience and confidence in all situations.
  • Adapt to any behaviour challenges, using positive strategies in support of the child's well‐being.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Preferably a male PA who is physically fit and active.
  • Access to a vehicle with mileage reimbursement provided by the employer.
  • Experience working with children who have Autism, ADHD or challenging behaviour is an advantage.
  • Willingness to undergo a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service check; the cost of the DBS will be covered by the employer.

This role is located in the HU9 area and requires four hours of work on each Saturday.
