A Personal Assistant is required for up to 14 hours per week in the HU8 area. A PA is needed to join an existing team of PAs supporting a lady living independently in her own home with the support of her family. The lady has short term memory problems.

There are 14 hours available; shifts are flexible but will include weekends and evenings. The family will split the hours available, so even if you are only interested in a few hours per week, please still apply. You will also be required to cover holidays and sickness.

The PA will be providing care and support to help the lady remain in her own home for as long as possible. This will involve:

  • Basic food preparation and assisting with meals
  • Personal care as required
  • Cleaning, laundry and general household chores
  • Working as part of a team and covering extra shifts when required
  • Covering holidays and sickness as needed

Training will be provided.

Requirements / Qualifications:

  • There is a genuine occupational requirement for a FEMALE worker; therefore only applications from FEMALES will be considered (Exemption under the Equality Act 2010).
  • Must be able to obtain a satisfactory DBS disclosure (cost covered by the local authority/employer).
