A female personal assistant is required to assist a lady who lives in the HU6 area. She likes dominoes, jigsaws, watching soaps and, in particular, shopping. She is looking for someone who is enthusiastic, respectful, reliable and flexible. She needs support to maintain her personal independence which involves use of a powered wheelchair and transfer by hoist. She needs to be kept safe and looked after on trips away from the home, such as visits to hospital, doctors, podiatry, shopping and meals out.
Responsibilities
- Personal care, medication, appropriate meal preparation and support with eating and drinking.
- General household duties including cleaning and laundry.
- Work as part of a team with evening shifts and flexibility to cover sickness and holidays.
Qualifications and requirements
- Experience is not essential as training will be given.
- Non-smoker and car driver preferred.
- Employed subject to a DBS check.
- There is a genuine occupational requirement for a FEMALE worker, and therefore only applications from FEMALES will be considered.
