Choices and Rights are looking for a part time administration assistant to join our busy admin team. Our admin office supports our team of Independent Living workers and supports Direct Payment and Personal Health Budget users across the city.
- Assisting with the recruitment of Personal Assistants, advertising, attending job fairs and processing applications.
- Completing payroll forms, insurance forms and consent forms for Direct Payment and PHB users.
- Maintaining client information systems, ensuring client information is kept up to date.
- Providing clients with holiday calculations for their Personal Assistants.
- Answering queries from disabled people & their families, general public & other organisations either via phone, email, written or face to face.
- Attending occasional home visits with Independent Living workers.
- Attending community information events to promote Choices and Rights.
- Assisting with setting up meeting & training sessions, taking bookings and helping to facilitate on the day.

About the Organisation: Choices & Rights are a user led organisation of disabled people in the Hull and East Riding area. We believe that the best experts on the needs of disabled people are disabled people themselves, and we use our voices to campaign for disabled people's rights and develop new services. We are a small office based on Bransholme. We are looking for a new administration worker to join our friendly team.
