Two or three Personal Assistants are required to provide support for a 28‑year‑old man in the Bransholme area of Hull. He wants staff who are fun to spend time with. He is a lovely young man with a great sense of humour, who enjoys having banter with staff and playing football, rugby, going to the MKM stadium, donuts, ice cream in Brid, disco, Xbox and thoroughly enjoying life to the full. He is a pleasure to work with in a lovely friendly home environment. He has complex needs and is a wheelchair user.
As his Personal Assistant you will provide support with:
- Eating
- Personal care
- Some cleaning
- Social activities
Qualifications and Experience
NVQ Level 3 in Healthcare or equivalent experience in the care sector. All necessary training will be provided. A car driver with a clean driving licence is preferred as you will be required to drive the young man’s adapted vehicle. The successful applicant will be employed subject to a satisfactory DBS check.
Benefits and Conditions
Rate of pay: £14.87 per hour. Hours: Up to 36 day hours and 24 night hours available – 7 am to 7 pm or 7 pm to 7 am – mixture of shifts – includes weekend working. Vacancies: 2 to 3. Location: HU7.
