Warehouse Operative

We are looking to hire an energetic Picker and Packer to be a part of our great team here at Greener Books.

Working to preparing and processing orders for shipping, it is critical to keep the system flowing that is why the most desired skill here is accuracy and speed

Our warehouse facility is located in Park Royal, London..

Preferable work experience would include inside a warehouse with activities relating to picking and packing.

Protective clothing will be provided (hi-vis & gloves).

Work Duties:

• To achieve daily targets of picking and packing orders.
• Picking and closely checking incoming orders.
• Packing of orders and to the quantity and quality required.
• Verifying orders adhering to specific quality control.
• Ensuring correct shipping information is attached and moving completed orders to shipping area.
• Ensuring work areas are kept clean, neat and well-organised.

Requirements/Skills:

• A very quick worker who works with urgency.
• Good and appropriate communication skills.
• Keen attention to detail with an eye for any small error.
• Ability to stay on their feet for throughout the working day.
• To work well in a team but also show independence.

All potential candidates will go through a brief assessment trial prior to employment, if you find yourself successful.

Those successful will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.25 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• London NW10 7PX: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

• Picker/Packer: 1 year (preferred)
