About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Media Make-Up Lecturer / Assessor to deliver high-quality training to Level 2 and Level 3 students at our partner campus in Watford. This is a fantastic opportunity for either an experienced Further Education (FE) educator or a highly skilled freelance Media Make-Up Artist (MUA) looking to share their expertise. We offer a competitive tiered hourly rate, accommodating both industry experts stepping into teaching and fully qualified lecturers.

Key Teaching & Assessing Units

  • Face and Body Art: Teaching creative design, advanced application techniques, and conceptual imagery.
  • Photographic Make-Up: Preparing students for studio, editorial, and commercial lighting environments.
  • Camouflage Make-Up: Delivering specialised technical skills for skin concealment, scar coverage, and medical camouflage application.

What We Are Looking For

Qualifications: A minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Media Make-Up, Theatrical Make-Up, or equivalent.

Teaching/Assessing Credentials: A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., AET, Cert Ed, PGCE) and/or assessing award (e.g., CAVA, TAQA, A1) is preferred to achieve the higher end of the pay scale.
