Choice Teachers are currently working with schools in the Mill Hill area who are seeking dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils aged 4 - 16 years old across primary and secondary settings. This SEN Teaching Assistant role offers both long-term opportunities and flexible day-to-day work within supportive school environments.

The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will work closely with teachers and SENCOs to support students with a range of special educational needs, helping them access the curriculum and build confidence in their learning.

About the Role:
  • Provide 1:1 or small group support for pupils with special educational needs (SEN)
  • Support students aged 4 - 16 years old across primary and secondary settings
  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
  • Support pupils with needs such as Autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and learning needs
  • Help maintain a positive and structured learning environment
  • Encourage independence, engagement and social development
  • Support behaviour management strategies and pastoral development
