Qualified Maths teacher

We are seeking a qualified Maths Teacher to be positioned at a well-established school in Finsbury Park., As a Qualified Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality mathematics lessons to students in a secondary school setting. Your primary focus will be on teaching and inspiring students to develop a deep understanding and appreciation for the subject., * Plan and deliver engaging maths lessons to students

• Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments and exams

• Provide feedback to students to help them improve their mathematical skills

• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience

• Participate in departmental meetings and professional development activities

The Candidate we are looking for needs to be Enthusiastic, articulate, and authoritative.

We want somebody capable of analysing a students work and providing catered feedback to individual students and incorporate what is learned into future lesson plans.

You should understand the value of this subject within a school, being Maths proficient will massively aid a student in any job they may find themselves in once they have left school.

It is incredibly important that our chosen candidate is confident and capable in behaviour management., * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Degree in Mathematics or related field

• Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Maths, * Experience teaching Maths at the secondary school level

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to motivate and engage students in learning

• Organisational and time-management skills, * Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in Maths

• Experience working with diverse student populations

• Additional training or qualifications in educational technology

• Contractual position with full-time hours
