Choice Teachers are working closely with a number of secondary schools across Oldham to recruit confident and reliable Cover Supervisors. This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, experienced teaching assistants, or individuals with experience working with young people who are looking to gain valuable classroom experience.
About the Role
- Supervising whole classes during teacher absences
- Delivering lesson plans and resources provided by teaching staff
- Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Supporting students to remain focused and on task
- Reporting back to teaching staff on pupil progress and behaviour
What We’re Looking For
- Confidence to lead a classroom and manage behaviour effectively
- Experience working with young people (school, youth work, coaching, care, etc.)
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A flexible, proactive, and professional attitude
- A genuine interest in working within education
Requirements
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply - £53.50)
- Right to work in the UK
