Teaching Assistants
As a Teaching Assistant, you will support teachers and pupils to help create a positive and engaging learning environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting teachers during lessons across a range of subjects
- Assisting students in the classroom to help them stay focused and engaged
- Working with small groups or individual pupils, including those with additional needs
- Encouraging positive behaviour and classroom participation
- Helping prepare classroom resources and learning materials
Cover Supervisors
Cover Supervisors manage classrooms during the short-term absence of teaching staff. This role is ideal for graduates or anyone considering a future career in teaching.
Responsibilities include:
- Supervising pre-planned lessons
- Ensuring students remain on task and engaged
- Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Supporting students with the work provided
- Providing feedback to teaching staff following lessons
School Office / Reception Support
You will support the day-to-day running of busy school offices and reception areas.
Responsibilities include:
- General school administration duties
- Answering telephone and email enquiries professionally
- Greeting visitors, parents, and external professionals
- Supporting attendance, data entry, and filing
- Assisting with daily school operations and organisation
