Choice Teachers are looking for a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join a successful secondary school in Milton Keynes from after the October half-term break.

About the Role
The successful English Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging and purposeful lessons that inspire students to develop a strong understanding and enjoyment of English.
You will:
- Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Teach a range of English Literature and English Language topics.
- Prepare and support students working towards GCSE examinations.
- Monitor student progress and adapt teaching to meet individual needs.
- Encourage students to develop strong literacy, communication and analytical skills.
- Establish a positive classroom environment with high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
- Work closely with colleagues within the English department.
- Contribute to the wider academic and extracurricular life of the school.
About You
We are looking for an enthusiastic teacher who:
- Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Has strong subject knowledge across English Language and Literature.
- Has experience teaching English at secondary level.
- Is confident teaching KS3 and GCSE.
- Has high expectations of students and strong classroom management skills.
- Can inspire and motivate students of different abilities.
- Is committed to helping every student achieve their potential.
- Works effectively as part of a supportive and collaborative department.
