The Role

Key Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognized teaching qualification.
  • NASENCO Qualification (National Award for Special Educational Needs Coordination) is mandatory for this post (or an equivalent completed mandatory SENDCo qualification).
  • A proven track record of teaching and coordinating provisions for pupils with a wide range of additional needs.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to coach and inspire classroom teachers in adaptive teaching strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills to manage partnerships with families and local authority stakeholders.
