Potential to pay to scale from day one. Start date: 1st June 2026 | 5 days per week. Initial contract until July 2026 (end of a maternity cover). Potential to extend into September or move into another local role.
Well-established secondary school in the Leigh area. Ongoing support throughout the placement. Choice Teachers are currently working with a well-established secondary school in the Leigh area to recruit a full-time Art Teacher. This role is to cover the final part of a maternity leave, starting in June and running until the end of the academic year. There is potential for the role to extend into September, or we can support you in securing another local position.

The successful Art Teacher will:
- Hold QTS / ECT / NQT status
- Deliver engaging Art lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Be committed to supporting pupils’ progress and development
- Have strong classroom management and organisational skills
- Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and colleagues
- Be willing to contribute to the wider school community
