About the Role
Choice Teachers is looking for a dedicated and experienced Communication Support Worker / Communicator to provide tailored 1:1 support for an adult learner within our vibrant Hemel Hempstead campus community. You will deliver high-quality communication support across scheduled classroom sessions, facilitating effective engagement and accessibility in a modern, well-equipped further education setting.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality communication support tailored to the specific needs of a 19+ learner.
- Facilitate effective engagement and accessibility across scheduled classroom sessions.
- Collaborate closely with academic and support teams to foster an inclusive and encouraging learning environment.
- Maintain reliability and flexibility to commit to the specified daytime hours across Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.
Candidate Requirements
Education & Experience: Proven experience in a communication support, British Sign Language (BSL), or learning support role within education.
Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build a supportive, professional rapport with adult learners.
