PE Teacher with PSHE teaching experience

Choice Teachers are currently working with a secondary school in Harrow who are seeking an enthusiastic and confident PE Teacher to join their department on a full-time basis after the October half term.
The timetable will consist of approximately 75% Physical Education and 25% PSHE, making this an excellent opportunity for a PE Teacher, Physical Education Teacher or Teacher of PE who is also comfortable delivering PSHE lessons.
The position will initially run until at least Christmas, with the possibility of continuing beyond this depending on the school's requirements.
An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service is essential for this position.
About the PE Teacher Role
- Teach approximately 75% PE and 25% PSHE
- Deliver engaging and practical PE lessons across the secondary age range
- Teach a variety of sports and physical education activities
- Deliver structured PSHE lessons as part of the timetable
- Plan, prepare and assess lessons where required
- Encourage participation and positive attitudes towards physical activity
- Maintain strong classroom and behaviour management
- Monitor student progress and provide effective feedback
- Maintain a safe and positive environment during practical PE lessons
- Work collaboratively with colleagues within the PE department
- Full-time timetable, Monday to Friday
