Choice Teachers are currently recruiting on behalf of a secondary school for a qualified GCSE Dance Teacher who is also able to teach Core PE. This is a part-time opportunity, working Monday to Wednesday, starting in September 2026 and continuing until October half term (23rd October 2026).
The Role
- Qualified GCSE Dance Teacher
- Teaching GCSE Dance and Core PE 3 days per week (Monday to Wednesday)
- September 2026 start
- Long-term placement until 23rd October 2026
- Planning, marking and assessment responsibilities included where required
- Supportive department and leadership team
The Successful Candidate Will
- Hold QTS, ECT or NQT status
- Have experience teaching GCSE Dance and Core PE at secondary level
- Be confident delivering engaging and practical lessons
- Be committed to raising attainment and pupil progress
- Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Communicate effectively with students, parents and colleagues
- Be willing to contribute to the wider school community
