A fantastic Sixth-Form College, with a fantastic reputation, are looking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Teacher of Economics to join their high-achieving and dynamic Economics department from September 2026. The successful candidate will have QTS or QTLS and demonstrate an enthusiasm for teaching the full Economics syllabus to both Lower and Upper Sixth (AQA specification). Applications from ECTs will be considered but must be supported by a relevant degree and demonstrate an outstanding ability to teach.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach the full Economics syllabus to both Lower and Upper Sixth (AQA specification)
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Adapt teaching methods to support students of different abilities
- Ensure the safeguarding and wellbeing of all pupils
