Choice Teachers are currently working with a primary school in Fulham who are seeking a qualified Early Years Practitioner to join their Early Years provision.
The school is looking for candidates who hold a recognised Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification and have a strong understanding of supporting young children within an Early Years environment.
A recognised Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification and valid Paediatric First Aid / Paediatric Life Support certification are essential for this position. Proof of qualifications will be required.
About the Early Years Practitioner Role
- Support children within an Early Years / EYFS setting
- Help deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning activities
- Support children's communication, language and social development
- Encourage learning through play and exploration
- Support children with their personal, emotional and physical development
- Observe children and contribute to learning and development records
- Work closely with teachers and other Early Years professionals
- Help maintain a safe, stimulating and welcoming learning environment
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety and Early Years procedures
- Provide appropriate care and support throughout the school day
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold an Early Years Level 2 or Level 3 qualification - essential
- Hold valid Paediatric First Aid / Paediatric Life Support certification - essential
- Be able to provide proof of relevant qualifications
- Have experience working with children within EYFS, Nursery or Reception
- Have a good understanding of child development
- Be enthusiastic, nurturing and patient
- Have strong communication skills
- Be confident supporting children both individually and in groups
- Understand the importance of safeguarding within Early Years
- Be reliable and committed to providing high-quality care and education
