About the Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-set work and maintaining a positive learning environment in the absence of the class teacher. Your role will include:
- Supervising whole classes during teacher absences
- Delivering lesson plans and resources provided by teaching staff
- Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Supporting students to remain focused and on task
- Reporting back to teaching staff on pupil progress and behaviour
What We're Looking For
- Confidence to lead a classroom and manage behaviour effectively
- Experience working with young people (school, youth work, coaching, care, etc.)
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A flexible, proactive, and professional attitude
- A genuine interest in working within education
Requirements
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply - Β£53.50)
