As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes during teacher absences, deliver pre-set work and develop essential behaviour management and classroom leadership skills.
The Role
- Supervise whole classes across Key Stages 3 and 4 during short-term teacher absences
- Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials provided by the class teacher
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Keep pupils on task and engaged in their learning
- Gain hands-on experience working within a secondary school environment
- Provide feedback to teaching staff regarding student engagement and behaviour
- Follow safeguarding procedures and school policies at all times
