We are looking for a confident, enthusiastic and motivated Cover Supervisor to join an excellent secondary school in Birkenhead on a full-time, temporary basis, with a fantastic opportunity for the right person to secure a long-term position.

What you'll be doing
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
- Take responsibility for supervising classes in the absence of the usual teacher.
- Deliver pre-prepared lessons and ensure pupils remain focused and engaged.
- Create a positive, calm and productive learning environment.
- Manage classroom behaviour confidently and consistently.
- Support pupils with their learning and encourage them to achieve their best.
- Work closely with teaching staff and the wider school team.
- Become a valued and trusted member of the school community.

- Confident, energetic and enthusiastic about working in a secondary school.
- Comfortable managing groups of young people.
- Able to build positive relationships with pupils quickly.
- Calm, professional and confident when managing behaviour.
- Reliable, organised and adaptable.

- Experienced in a school environmentorkeen to take the next step into education.
