Choice Support has recently gone through a restructure and with it comes an opportunity to shape the future. We are now recruiting for a range of new roles across the organisation -this is more than just a job opportunity, it’s a chance to influence how we work, and make a real difference to the people we support.
About the Role
We are looking for a supportive and motivated Team Manager to join our team in Sutton. This role is all about making a real difference to people’s lives.
Responsibilities
As a Team Manager, you will make sure people get the right support in a way that works for them. You will do this by keeping support plans up to date, making sure they reflect what people want and need, and help them build confidence, learn new skills, and live as independently as possible.
Support and guide your team to do their best work. This includes helping new staff settle in and making sure everyone has the training and support they need to feel confident in their role.
Work closely with the management team to keep things running smoothly to ensure the best support is provided, from planning rotas and recruiting new team members to making sure there are enough staff in place to meet people’s needs.
Lead by example, build positive relationships, communicate clearly, and make sure people are safe, treated with respect, supported to live a life they enjoy. You will also keep good records and carry out regular checks to make sure the quality of support stays high.
