We are currently recruiting full‑time and part‑time support workers in Lewisham. We provide care and support to adults with a range of learning disabilities, physical disabilities, autism and complex needs. As a Support Worker, you’ll deliver excellent care, celebrate achievements, encourage fun and creativity and engage directly with our wider community. This is more than just a job – you will be helping the people we support gain independence and live healthy, happy and fulfilling lives.
Responsibilities:
- Providing personal care.
- Administering medication.
- Dealing with challenging behaviour.
- Supporting daily living tasks such as cleaning, meal preparation and budgeting.
- Encouraging development of skills and engagement with the local community.
- Developing relationships with those involved in their care and personal wellbeing.
About you:
This role is ideal for people committed to making a positive difference in individuals’ lives, including experienced support workers, graduates and those seeking a stimulating career path into social care. You do not need to have experience in care or support work. We will provide full training and induction to support you in your new role. Whether you have previous experience working in the care sector or are looking to build a career in the industry, we want to hear from you. A UK Driving Licence is desirable. Fully flexible for shifts.
