Summary
About the Role:
As a Support Worker, no two days are the same. You will provide person-centred support tailored to each individual's needs, preferences, and aspirations.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting individuals with daily living activities and promoting independence.
Encouraging community participation and social inclusion.
Accompanying individuals on long walks, swimming sessions, church services, college placements, shopping trips, holidays, and day trips.
Supporting people to attend social events, including clubs, nightclubs, and other leisure activities.
Supporting individuals with Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) needs and following support plans effectively.
Promoting choice, dignity, respect, and wellbeing at all times.
Building positive, trusting relationships with the people you support.
Responding calmly and confidently to changing situations and challenges.
