About the Role
We are looking for a supportive and motivated Team Manager to join our team in Redbridge. This role is all about making a real difference to people’s lives.
Responsibilities
- Ensure people receive the right support in a way that works for them, keeping support plans up to date.
- Support and guide your team to do their best work, including helping new staff settle in and providing training.
- Work closely with the management team to run the service smoothly, from planning rotas and recruiting new team members to ensuring sufficient staffing.
- Lead by example, build positive relationships, communicate clearly, keep good records and carry out regular quality checks.
About You
We are open to candidates without previous management experience. We will support you to build confidence and develop others.
We are looking for
- About two years of experience in social care, ideally in supported living, residential or community services, with an understanding of managing risk and recognising when additional support is needed.
- A Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care and Leadership & Management, or a willingness to work towards it.
- An understanding of key legislation, such as the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act and safeguarding.
- Confidence using systems like Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and care management systems.

- Organised, accurate record‑keeping, aware of confidentiality.
- Kind, positive, a great listener and communicator, caring about people while staying flexible.
- Ready to lead a team and make a real impact on people’s lives.
- Location
Based at the service in Redbridge, with time spent in the community and attending meetings or training.
Hours
Full‑time, 39 hours per week, working flexibly to meet service needs, including on‑call duty and occasional evening or weekend work.
