As a Support Worker, no two days are the same. You will provide person-centred support tailored to each individual's needs, preferences, and aspirations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting individuals with daily living activities and promoting independence.
- Encouraging community participation and social inclusion.
- Accompanying individuals on long walks, swimming sessions, church services, college placements, shopping trips, holidays, and day trips.
- Supporting people to attend social events, including clubs, nightclubs, and other leisure activities.
- Supporting individuals with Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) needs and following support plans effectively.
- Promoting choice, dignity, respect, and wellbeing at all times.
