POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Sales Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end Sales process. Becoming intimately familiar with all of Choices business offerings. Responsible for partnering with internal teams while onboarding new clients, and continuously engaging with them to build their platform and bring in additional business both from new and existing clients.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop executable business plans to increase our market share and to service our existing client base
- Utilize market research to plan and further develop existing and new client relationships
- Increase sales by preparing and delivering clear and persuasive product presentations
- Understand client operating conditions and make recommendations to increase client engagement
- Direct and coordinate all sales activities
- Determine competitive market share and pricing, implement tactics to secure and grow business
- Effectively manage opportunity pipeline and all sales related activities
- Track and continuously analyze sales statistics based on key data points
- Meet and exceed sales and financial targets for new and existing accounts
- Identify and secure new named accounts/clients
- Solicit and grow client accounts; identify and secure additional opportunities throughout the life of the contract
- Continue to be well-versed in Choices total offerings and services available to clients
- Research and develop strategies that identify market and new business opportunities
- Recommend business development strategies and improvements based on market research and competitive landscape
- Manage and maintain business development and sales pipeline activity in systems
- Team lead and account owner on all RFQ Initiatives
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
- 6 years of sales and client facing experience
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Effective communication and presentation abilities
- 3+ years of Supply Chain & Logistics experience
- 5+ years of relevant experience in aggressively growing a territory
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Strong Analytical and Negotiating skills
- Superior customer service skills required, including focus on customer needs and customer relationship management
- Comfortable with approximately 30% travel
