Choice Services, the in-house service delivery organisation within Choice Housing, are looking to employ an Apprentice Electrician to join our Maintenance Team. Read on to find out what you will need to succeed in this position, including skills, qualifications, and experience.

As part of our Team, we will expect you to take part in both planned and responsive electrical maintenance in domestic premises. 40 hours per week including attendance at college.

The salary will be based on age:

  • £7.55 per hour for under 18
  • £10.00 per hour for 18 to 20 years
  • £12.21 per hour for 21 years and above

Essential Criteria:

  • Understanding of good customer service
  • Ability to travel to and from your place of work
  • Applicants should be physically fit, not afraid of working at heights or confined spaces
  • Applicants must be between 16-24 years
  • A general knowledge of building maintenance, property or building services terminology
  • Applicants must be currently enrolled into an Electrician apprenticeship course
