The Sustainability & Energy Coordinator will manage energy monitoring activities, maintain environmental databases, and reduce energy consumption through site visits and recommendations. The role involves promoting sustainable behaviours, supporting biodiversity projects, and providing advice on retrofitting initiatives and energy efficiency. Staying updated on sustainability developments and providing training to colleagues and tenants are also key responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Degree level qualification or equivalent in a relevant field such as construction, surveying, environmental management, energy or engineering AND 6 months’ relevant experience in energy, sustainability, or environmental management
  • HND in construction, surveying, environmental management, energy or engineering AND 1 year’s relevant experience in energy, sustainability, or environmental management
  • 3.5 years’ relevant experience such as construction, property, or mechanical and electrical installation (which must include 6 months in an energy or sustainability related capacity) AND working towards or willingness to work towards obtaining relevant HND (as listed above)
  • Experience of all Microsoft packages, to include Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Knowledge of different types of construction and building fabric, along with current building regulation requirements.
  • Knowledge of environmental issues, legislation, and funding opportunities and procedures.
  • Valid UK driving licence and access to private transport.
