Responsibilities
Choice is seeking to recruit an Area Manager to manage the housing management service, in accordance with statutory requirements, agreed policies and procedures, achieving high performance and recognising best practice. You will lead, manage and develop a team of frontline housing staff ensuring they operate efficiently, effectively and are well motivated and trained to achieve agreed KPIs and deliver an excellent housing management service.
Qualifications / Experience
- Relevant degree qualification (or equivalent) and a minimum of five years’ post graduate experience in housing / property management -Or- Minimum of 8 years’ housing / property management experience
- Ability to manage KPI’s, and prepare, implement and review business plan
- Budget development and management
- Ability to prepare reports including negotiating and influencing a diverse range of stakeholders
- Experience of Arrears management, customer complaints handling, enforcement of tenancy conditions, and health & safety management
- Current and full UK driving licence & access to private transport
