The role consists of shift work and weekends on a rota basis. We know how hard it can be to find a job to suit personal commitments and that’s why we offer a range of flexible positions to fit around your needs.

  • Providing personal care – including bathing, toileting, dressing and help with feeding
  • Medication administration
  • Assisting and getting involved in residents’ daily activities, hobbies or outings
  • Following care plan guidance alongside company policies and procedures
  • Developing an open, honest, and considerate working relationship with residents
  • Attending and completing training, as required

Where will you work?

Argyll House provides a safe, supportive, caring and active environment for five men and women with severe learning disabilities and complex emotional and behavioural needs, including those who are non‑verbal. Residents at Argyll House all have personalised support to enable them to live as independently as possible. A bespoke programme of activities, both on‑site and in the community, promotes ongoing personal development, including arts and crafts, gardening, cooking, trampolining and a regular coffee club. Argyll House is located at the end of a small cul‑de‑sac in north Swindon, close to local leisure facilities and just two miles from the town centre. The home has its own transport for local leisure and recreation as well as excursions further afield.
