Our Outreach Rehabilitation Support Workers work alongside neurotherapists to help people regain skills and quality of life after a life‑changing injury. The role involves doing interesting activities and working with the team to find creative solutions. No two days are the same.
As this role is in the community supporting individuals in their own homes, communities and workplaces, it is essential to be a driver and car owner. The role includes working a varied rota including weekend work. Optional work in our residential rehab service may also be available. We have excellent career development programmes and opportunities. The role would suit individuals looking for a complete career change or those aiming for a career in social care, neuro‑psychology, neuro‑OT, neurology‑SLT or neuro‑physiotherapy.
Responsibilities
- Provide outreach rehabilitation support to individuals in the community, working closely with neurotherapists.
- Engage in varied activities to support clients' recovery and quality of life.
- Work with the team to develop creative solutions for client challenges.
- Travel to clients' homes and workplaces as required.
