Working with us as a Multi Trade Operative, you’ll know that what you do matters. We are a progressive and ambitious maintenance team; you will have the opportunity to take responsibility for your own workload and deliver first class reactive repairs to a wide range of properties. You will need to take responsibility to ensure tasks are completed and be willing to work in and as a team to deliver a great service. We have exciting growth plans and want people who are equally as ambitious as we are.
Responsibilities
- Perform a range of maintenance tasks including touch up paint, fencing repairs, changing light bulbs, unblocking toilets, locating and repairing leaks, adjusting heating, moving furniture, measuring and fitting windows and doors, fitting fire doors, replacing kitchen cupboard doors, locating a fuse box, repairing damaged walls, fitting new fixtures and fittings, and laying vinyl floor tiles where needed.
- Work an 8-hour shift per day, Monday to Friday with core hours 10:00–15:00 and a compulsory 7 nights out-of-hours emergency cover per month, paid at standby and hourly rate.
- Collaborate with Operations staff to plan time efficiently as most work will be in occupied residences, ensuring properties are kept to a liveable standard.
- Utilise technology to track incoming and completed jobs and participate in contracted services for fire safety, water safety and alarm servicing.
