Overview Of The Role
Whether you are new to the industry or have come from a social care background, we welcome your application, as you’ll be provided with in-house training when you start work with Choice Care. Working alongside our permanent staff team, not only will you make a huge difference to people’s lives, but you’ll be able to enjoy days out, trips away and join in with many more activities, all of which ensures the people we work with are safe, happy and lead fulfilling lives.
Please note, this role is for Female Applicants working Nights Only, owing to the needs of the service.
Key duties
- Providing personal care - including bathing, toileting, dressing and help with feeding
- Medication administration
- Assisting and getting involved in residents' daily activities, hobbies or outings
- Following care plan guidance alongside Company policies and procedures
- Developing an open, honest, and considerate working relationship with residents
- Maintaining written daily records
- Attending and completing training, as required

Where will you work?
Linden Farm is a 10-bed supported living service for young adults with a diagnosis of Autism and Learning Disabilities. Located in the village of Alfold, near Cranleigh, and set in extensive grounds, the service consists of 5 individual apartments and 5 beds located in generous communal surroundings. Residents at Linden Farm engage in an extensive activities program which includes horse riding, swimming, bowling, and a range of other outdoor and indoor pursuits. They are supported by a team consisting of Social Care Workers, Activities co-ordinators and a small team of drivers. Parents and families play a pivotal role in engaging with the Linden Farm team to provide a comprehensive support structure for residents.
