Location: Central Sheffield

Hours: Full Time – 37 hours per week (Flexi Time)

Contract: Fixed‑term for 12 months

Salary: £26,403 – £28,142 per annum (Grade 4)

Responsibilities

  • Support payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate handling of payroll data.
  • Resolve pay and pension related queries.
  • Update and maintain employee records.
  • Assist the Payroll & Pensions Officer in developing and enhancing the payroll system in accordance with legislation and organisational policies.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a payroll and pensions environment.
  • Knowledge and understanding of payroll legislation.
  • Excellent communication skills to deliver quality support service.
  • Strong multitasking ability and confidence using ICT systems.
  • Foundation Level CIPP qualification.
  • GCSEs, including Maths and English (A to C or equivalent).
