Location: Portlethen, Aberdeen (on-site)
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week

About the Role
They are looking for a Supply Chain & Operations Administrator to support the Supply Chain & Operations Team.
This role is responsible for daily administration duties relating to shipping of goods while working with all departments to ensure client orders are manufactured, shipped and delivered in a timely manner. The role will also provide general administration support to all departments as required.
Your Core Responsibilities & Tasks
Supply Chain
- Manage the receipt of all services and non-chemical goods in while acting as a point of contact for any queries.
- Arrange UK and International logistics with support of Supply Chain Co-ordinator.
- Support with logistics request for quotes from sales team
- Create job folders and record order information on the company’s database.
- Create draft shipping documents (Commercial Invoice, Packing List etc.) and send to the relevant sales team member for approval.
- Electronically dispatch sales orders using Sage and send dispatch paperwork to manufacturing team
- Set up new supplier applications and maintain the approved suppliers list with up-to-date accreditation.
- Book and track courier services using online portals.
- Raise purchase orders through Sicon and Sage, ensuring relevant financial authority has been granted.
- Maintain Supply Chain databases
- Support Supply Chain Co-ordinator as required
- Keep customers updated with relevant logistics information as and when required
- General office administration support and ordering of office supplies
- Assist with document control as and when required
- Monitoring of shared inboxes
Operations & Manufacturing
- Assist with DHL deliveries, including printing and checking paperwork and assigning it to goods ready for delivery.
- Assist with arranging contractors for site maintenance.
- Provide administration support to the General Manager.
What They’re Looking For
- General standard grades, SVQ in Administration or relevant work experience.
- Good face-to-face communication skills
- Strong organisation skills, with pro-active and task orientated approach.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Flexible approach.
- Strong IT Skills: Sage 200 would be advantageous.
