About The Employer:

Our client is a federated charity consisting of a central national office and over 170 geographically dispersed local organisations, all working together under the same identity. The organisation recognises that being a parent has never been easy. Every volunteer is trained to work alongside parents to overcome the challenges they are facing. The organisation works with parents to build on their strengths and give them the support that they tell them they need. They offer no judgement – just compassionate, confidential help and expert support. This peer‑to‑peer support is key to the difference the organisation makes and often their volunteers have lived experience of the challenges their families are facing themselves. The employer has been accredited with Investors in People since March 2005, recognising its commitment to staff development.

About The Role:

Head of Insight and Impact is an exciting new leadership role for this charity at a critical time as they develop and prepare to launch their new, federation‑wide strategy in early 2027. • Design and lead a consistent approach to monitoring and evaluating the support provided by this organisation to their federation, ensuring outcomes and learning are captured and shared.
  • Lead this organisation’s Impact Team and work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation and with locally federated teams, leveraging collective skills and expertise.
  • In a busy and varied role, you will put insight and impact at the heart of the charity's work. Typical tasks include working with the data analyst to visualise and present the results of the latest National Data Return to the Executive Leadership Team, running a feedback session with locally federated teams piloting new outcome measures, and/or ensuring colleagues in the Fundraising Team have the insight they need for proposal development.
