Role summary: Deliver customers’ products to the required premises while ensuring all customers receive exceptional customer service as part of a multi‑drop delivery route. The driver must transport all products safely, treating the freight as if it were their own.

Key responsibilities:

  • Represent DX in a professional manner at all times
  • Drive vehicles in a safe and legal manner, ensuring compliance with all legal and company requirements at all times
  • Conduct all daily checks, report defects immediately, and complete correct paperwork
  • Scan all products using DX scanning equipment
  • Load all deliveries safely before leaving the depot
  • Observe DX procedures and policies at all times
  • Manage your routing to ensure premium and timed deliveries are achieved
  • Maintain correct equipment and PPE in good order and use them at all times
  • Report any delivery or on‑road issues to the traffic office immediately
  • Ensure the customer receives their deliveries in excellent condition every time
  • Deal with any customer issues politely and effectively
  • Carry out collections in line with given instructions and times

Essential Criteria:

  • Hold a C1 or above licence with a valid DQC and Tacho card
  • Maximum of 6 points on licence and no bans
  • Take pride in delivering exceptional customer service
  • Ability to build rapport with customers
